How listings are created

AVS-ACDT trainers are imported from the official AVS ACDT page. We create baseline profiles from that public source. If you are on the AVS list, you may already have a profile in our directory — search the trainer directory or the AVS-accredited filter.

Claiming your profile

Trainers and business owners can claim a listing to add verified services, coverage areas, pricing notes and a short bio. Claims are reviewed before changes go live. Use the claim form on your profile page, or contact us if you cannot find your listing.

Certifications and labelling

We separate AVS-ACDT accreditation from professional certifications such as IAABC and CCPDT. When you claim a profile, provide current credential details and expiry where relevant. See how to become a certified dog trainer in Singapore and our certifications guide.

Enquiries

Owners can submit general enquiries through the site. Suitable enquiries may be routed to trainers based on location, services and credentials. We do not guarantee enquiry volume. Trainers can also receive direct enquiries when owners contact them from profile pages.

Reviews

Owners may submit reviews, which we moderate before publication. We do not sell the removal of legitimate reviews. If you believe a review is inaccurate or violates our terms, contact us with specifics.

Corrections and removals

If your accreditation status has changed, your contact details are wrong, or you no longer practise, please reach out via contact. We prioritise factual updates about credentials and contact information.

What we expect from listed trainers

• Accurate, current certification and accreditation information
• Honest representation of services, areas served and methods when asked
• Willingness to refer to a veterinarian when behaviour may have a medical component
• Respect for HDB neighbour context when advising on barking and alone-time training
